Piece of Heart & Heart Container

*Get heart music plays* You got yourself a heartcontainer!

Heart Containers are used to store Link’s “health” in the Legend of Zelda series. The more heart containers the player collects, the more health Link can have and the more ‘hit points’ he has.

Another pretty straight-forward model. If you feel like replenishing your hears, this is the way to do so! Don’t forget you don’t need to print the first page of the PDF. Only 2-6 are the papercraft. They’re quite big pieces, so don’t worry about it being too complicated or h(e)ard.

Piece of Heart
Pieces of Heart are smaller pieces of a full Heart Container. By collecting the necessary number of Pieces of Heart, Link can create a new Heart Container and thus increase his health meter.

Heart Pieces are found in mostly every Zelda game starting with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and they are found in many different places throughout the game. They are either hidden in hard to reach places that need tools you find later in the game, in treasure chests within dungeons or the overworld, or by helping someone with a deed. In some games, they can also be purchased in shops.

This particular piece of heart is from the game Ocarina of Time (or Majora’s Mask)

It looks so confusing when you open the actual papercraft file because the textures are inside-out. If you’re patient and reverse all the folds, you should still be able to put it together. Be extra careful though, it’ll be like building it in mirror-image. Hope this helps those of you who are confused.
