Sakurai hasn't said anything, and the Japanese game has nothing of the sort, so I would guess no. I even think he said there wouldn't be a new sequel or story mode.

I recall seeing an article where Sakurai explained that he felt the main draw of Subspace Emissary was the cutscenes where the characters interacted with each other and, if people were just going to put them up on youtube, that kinda made Subspace Emissary pointless. I'm not sure I entirely understand his reasoning (I also may not be remembering the article correctly) but it seems he doesn't want a long story mode.

^So do I need to do it through a 3DS, or can I use a plain ROM that happens to be lying around on my computer? My 3DS has the latest firmware, and I'm not sure that can be helped. I'd like to see if this method can be used on Luigi's Mansion 2 formats.

Also, I built a snowman:

There's a new tutorial thread which I think would be good for future questions. I think you need the 3DS to get certain files to decrypt the ROM. The ROM itself can just happen to be on your computer for some reason.

A new 3DS hack, and subsequently homebrew, has been made but not released. It works with the newest firmware 3DS. I think it should release in a month or so. Hopefully, this will enable ripping without having to get a 4.5 firmware 3DS and an expensive flash cart.

Not to mention region unlocking and screenshots. :D

Aww, I wanted to try that game :/ Alongside many other Wii U games for that matter, as I've never owned a home console before. Looking forward to Smash, though!

Hyrule Warriors has already been out for a week in Europe. I've really been enjoying it, personally, and I can see adventure mode keeping me busy for a long time :). Also, in response to both any ideas that it starts too easy and countless youtube comments about "do the enemy ever attack you" - Hyrule Warriors does get very challenging as the story/adventure progresses.

I'm split between transparency vs. privacy for the Nintendo Papercraft forums. Any ideas? I'd love to hear from you on Loomio: https://www.loomio.org/d/o8u5hNlw/trans ... vs-privacy

Tracking code as in spying on our privacy?

The code collects data about visitors, such as looking up what country they're from based on the IP address (the most accurate lookups can pinpoint a city, it's not very accurate), what kind of device (Windows, Linux, IOS, Android) they use, what browser they use, what pages they visited and for how long. This is all data that any website could get - data you've always shared whether you realise it or not and data that you have to share to use the internet, but not everyone tracks it. We recently had a discussion on Loomio about our use of data tracking and decided that we would not collect and track this data from our visitors

^ What Byte wrote is 100% accurate, but as he said IP addresses have a very high margin of error. For example, most IP analyzers think I live about 500km from where I really live.

Such inaccuracy is not very useful when your computer uses this data to automatically personalize your experience (e.g. Windows 8 Bing Weather app). But again, automatic customization is a trap from a privacy-aware point of view.

That kid is apparently 14 in the video...
My goodness, I don't think he's even aware of the embarrassment he's causing himself.
